OFF SHORE ROAD, BOURNE, MASS.
These salt works are replicas of solar
evaporation vats. They are Cape Cod's
only working vats. Prior to 1885 salt pro-
duction was a million dollar industry. The
water from the Cape Cod Canal is used
to produce the salt which is on sale at
the post.
