My dear friend:
Coban, Guatemala, C. A., December 6th., 1912.
We have just arrived in this place, which is in
the real interior. After spending three days in little river boats,
and most of three days in the saddle through mountain trails, we
feel the need of rest, but must push into the work as our dates are
made.

The poor Indians, like the one
on this card, carry the freight.
Our baggage is being conveyed
by eleven of them through to
this point. There are more than
a million of them in Guatemala
alone, and all without the gospel.
God is blessing us as we carry
the gospel to lost men and wo-
men. Will you pray the Lord to
supply every need of the work,
and give us workers to follow
it up.
Knoxville, Tenn..U. S. A. Will
you give me a Christmas present
of one real earnest prayer that
God will provide grace for every
duty.
