Additional Details:
Fisk University, with an enrollment of 500 students, a campus of forty acres, 20 buildings, a faculty of 60, is one of the oldest and best known liberal arts colleges for Negroes in America. It was founded in 1865. It is supported by an endowment and by annual gifts from people all over America. The Fisk Jubilee Singers first gave Negro spirituals to America and Europe, and a group of these singers, all Fisk men and women, are still touring in the interest of Fisk. The University grants AB, AM and Mus. B degrees.
