Union High School
Additional Details:
This modern high school, which is owned and operated by the Uintah and Duchesne school districts, houses approximately 500 students from the two counties, 75 of whom are Ute Indian children. Constructed in 1951 from local school funds and money appropriated by the United States Congress, it was built astride the county line to foster increased interest from the people of both counties in its construction, ownership and management. Union High is fully accredited by the Northwest Association of Secondary and Higher Schools. Dexter Press, Inc. |
