the completion of a 3500-mile
endurance trip from Muncie, Indian DEC 2
to San Francisco, Cal., which was run 30 PM
under extraordinarily severe road con
ditions, and which taxed the car very
severely, as the car was driven under
high speed and without regard to proper
motor usage. The car was taken from
stock and started off without any
special fittings or equipment. No mis-
haps were encountered throughout the
entire trip, and the record of this car
is only an example of all INTER-STATE
Models. This car was driven by C. L
Welch, by a roundabout course through
Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin
to Menominee, thence to Minnesota,
Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and
California.
