Also built in Touring Sedan, Cabriolet, Limousine, Town Car and Roadster. The Hudson Super-Six. An engineering marvel, invented and controlled solely by the Hudson Motor Car Company. (Patented December 28, 1915). It develops 76 H.P. without any added side or number of cylinders. On the Sheepshead Bay Speedway, the new Hudson Super-Six set the highest records for speed and acceleration ever made by a stock car. It ran 100 miles in 80 minutes 21.4 seconds, averaging a speed of 74:67 miles per hour. It ran 1350 miles at an average speed of over 70 miles per hour for the entire distance. Its "pick-up" of speed from a standing start was amazing.
