HARRISBURG NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY
ANNOUNCEMENT
The First Fall meeting of the Harrisburg Natural History Society will be held on
WEDNESDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 12, at 8:00 o'clock, in the State Museum.
"A Trip to the Mountains and Deserts of the West"
is the Title of an Illustrated Lecture by FRANKLIN J. W. HORICH
The unusual pictures which Mr. Horich took on a western trip this summer and
his descriptive talk indicate an enjoyable evening.
NOTE: The Dauphin County Historical Society invites the members of the
Harrisburg Natural History Society to join its members in an historical tour of Lan-
caster and environs. Cars will leave Front and Paxton Streets, at 9:15 A.M. and re-
turn about 5:00 P. M. For further information call Dr. George Potts, 4-1708.
What more fitting in observing Columbus Day than a day's historical trip, and a
Natural History Lecture in the evening.
A reminder-The Hawk Mountain Trip, Saturday, October 8.
