SCENIC WILSON
Wilson, centrally located in Eastern North Carolina, was called
"the prettiest village in the coastal plain" by the late Josephus
Daniels, former Navy Secretary and Ambassador to Mexico, as he
wrote of it in his autobiography. Nash Street, in the western
section of the city, lined with magnificent elms and oaks, has been
designated as one of the ten most beautiful residential streets
in America.
