The "Snap" Car
The 36-ton car (shown on opposite
side) was equipped with HESS-BRIGHT
BALL BEARINGS on the Main Journals
over two years ago.
These bearings have been lubricated
twice a year, have not required a cent's
worth of repairs and are still as good as
new. In fact the car is known among the
men as the "Snap" Car, on account of Its
running qualities.
