COXSACKIE LIGHTHOUSE, situated at the northern end,
of a low island, on the western side of the main channel of
the Hudson River, was established in 1830; it was rebut
in 1868. It has a fixed white light, 40 1/2 feet above high
water, and visible for 11 1/4 nautical miles.
