Belle Isle Park is an island of 702 acres located in
the Detroit River, between Detroit and Windsor. It
has been converted into one of the most beautiful
parks in the United States, having 21 miles of ma-
cademized roads and having a magnificent Casino,
Pavilions, Aquarium, Bath Houses, Horticultural Hall
and Zoological Gardens. Upwards of a million and
half dollars have been expended in beautifying it.
