Phoenix is the capital and largest city in
Arizona. Arizona is the fifth largest state in
area and the youngest state in the Union.
Admitted to statehood February 14th, 1912.
The Capitol is built of native tufa stone and is
situated in a beautifully landscaped ten acre
park with specimens of native trees, plants
and shrubs.
