HOQUIAM'S "CASTLE"
A vibrant piece of west coast history has been preserved in
Hoquiam's stately "Castle". This 20-room mansion built in
1897 by lumber baron Robert Lytle has been declared a state
and national historic site by the national parks department.
It is open to the public for tours daily from 11:00 am to 5:00
pm through the summer.
