Agave Parrii, Century Plant of east central Arizona. Unusual in that the bicolor flower differs from the single color species found elsewhere in the Southwest. A tall top flower- ing stalk reaching 15 feet in height bears the panicle of flower in July. Abundant along Highway 60 east of Salt River Canyon.
