Chefoo Harbor, China.-Chefoo is a great gateway to
China. This harbor is deep and at the same time treacher-
ous. The foreign trade is carried on with England and
America, and the imports are mostly raw material, wool,
cotton, etc. It is one of the oldest harbors in China, being
older than Hong Kong.
