Bayard's Cove. Dartmouth is picturesquely
situated in South Devonshire, on the estuary of
the beautiful River Dart. The town is of ancient
origin, and contains a number of interesting old
houses and quaint corners. The river is the great
attraction, and for several miles past the town it
is a wide navigable tideway.
