Post Office. Aguadilla, which was founded in 1775, has
its Post Office on the first floor of a two-story frame build-
ing. On the beach, near the city, is the historic spot
where Columbus first landed, Nov. 19, 1493 (on his second
voyage), at which time he gave it the name “Puerto Rico"
or rich port. Aguadilla has a magnificent bay, an old fort,
and an antique church.
