Where in all the world, could be found
hotel of the Mission type, than on the site
of the historic old Arlington, at Santa
z Barbara, California.
Of course it will be named the Arlington,
and the constant aim of the manager will be
to preserve that element of hospitality which
is so dear to those who knew the old hotel.
The new house is being built of cement,
steel, brick and tile and will be opened in
January 1911. The famous old rose and
palm gardens, (which have had a growth
of more than a quarter of a century) have
been preserved.
