GOING VACATIONING?
Then don't miss the picturesque city of Las
Vegas, Nevada, scenic center of the great South-
west, and last of the frontier towns. Under
liberal laws, this desert city affords scenes and
pastimes reminiscent of the old west. It is en-
circled by such scenic wonders as Boulder Dam,
the world's greatest engineering project which
forms Lake Mead, 115 miles long, 8 miles wide,
with a shore line of more than 500 miles; snow
capped Mt, Charleston, which towers to a height
of 7,500 feet; Lost City, where hands point
backward along the mysterious trail of our an-
cient Indian villages; and the Valley of Fire, with
its flaming walls of rock. A few hours' ride east
over good roads takes you to God's playground,
Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks,
and Bryce Canyon, dazzling their splendor in
beautiful color and high spirals; or to the west
is Death Valley, 300 feet below sea level. You
would marvel at these scenic wonders. And, by
the way, we more than enjoyed our meals in a
cool, clean restaurant called
