A "TIN CAN TOURIST CAMP" IN FLORIDA.
"A TIN CAN TOURIST" CAMP IN FLORIDA.
Then other tourists come along,
Neath spreading oak and pine tree tall
“A tin can tourist" in the Fall
And ere the bloorming May comes round
They'll buy a piece of fertile ground
Cars from the North, the East, the West, And mark it off in streets and squares
The camp force now is growing strong
Puts up his tent and plans to stay
In Florida till blooming May,
Bring weary tourists seeking rest,
All happy in this flowery glade
And every tourist take some shares,
For they will build a city h•re
When they come back another year
And soon another tourist comes,
They meet and greet like old time chums, Beneath the broad oaks welcome shade
They tell new jokes and make new plans,
They're singing songs and making plans
Just as the "tin can tourist" plans
And mess from out the same tin cans.
And piling up the empty cans.
When he piles up the empty cans.
