STS-7 MISSION CONTROL CENTER ACTIVITY - This
photo, showing the front row of the mission operations control
room of the Johnson Space Center's mission control center, focuses
on the busiest area of the facility during launch phase and the
transition from launch to orbital entry. STS-7 flight dynamics
officer (FDO) on duty is Ronald C. Epps, left. Bradford H. Sweet
mans the trajectory console. The orbital phase of the flight began
over Africa (note spotter on the large tracking map in the front of
MOCR).
