This giant cut-out of a Maine sardine fish-
erman is an interesting attraction for motor-
ists entering or leaving the state at Kittery.
Located on busy Route 1, a few hundred
yards east of the Maine-New Hampshire bridge,
the 40 foot figure impressively reminds one of
the state's great sardine canning industry
which supplies delicious, healthful Maine Sar-
dines to virtually every city and town in the
nation.
