on completion in 1962, with an ultimate capacity
of 75,000 kilowatts, part of Consumers system of
electric plants serving 61 counties in Michigan's
Lower Peninsula. Located about three mNes N.E.
of Charlevoix, and about 12 miles west of Petos-
key, on the shore of Lake Michigan.
