ARVEY
The Indians of nearby villages have been per-
mitted to establish a little market place in front of
the Indian Building at Albuquerque. They may
be seen here in greatest numbers during the sea-
sons when not occupied in planting or harvesting.
The women are usually from Isleta, the men from
San Domingo. Due to some native custom the
conservative San Domingans do not permit their
women to appear in public.
