BARNEY'S MARKET CLUB gets top billing in
Chicago and rates seventh in the country in
popular eating places, according to "Where to
Eat," just published by the Darnell Corp. of
Chicago. Ratings based on 7,000 nominations
from 700 business and professional men.
Vest-pocket volume lists 2,300 dining places.
Top in the country is Old Original Bookbinder's
in Philadelphia.
Chicago rates highest of all cities, having 12
places among the first 50. Include the Pump
Room, St. Hubert's, Jacques', Red Star, L'Aiglon,
Don the Beachcomber, Henrici's, Kungsholm,
Wrigley Building Restaurant, Stouffer's and
the Yar.
