PICKEN HALL
Constructed in 1904, with wings added in 1908, Picken Hall is the
first building built on the present campus site. The native limestone
structure was known then as Academic Hall and was renamed in
1909 to honor then “principal” of the school, William S. Picken. To-
day it is the administration building.
