Denver's Mountain Park System covers some
of the most scenic areas of the Colorado Rockies.
This unique system of 20,000 acres starts at an
elevation of 5,681 ft., 15 miles West of Denver
and rises to Summit Lake 12,740 ft., 62 miles
west of the mile high city. Numerous picnic areas
are located throughout the parks. Fishing, hiking,
golfing and skiing are among the activities; that
may be enjoyed.
