State Capitol

| Built of native stone, the State Capitol is located at Washington Street and 17th Avenue. The walls are of tufa stone from Skull Valley, and the foundation is of granite from the mountains north of Phoenix. A 10-acre landscaped park surrounds the Capitol. |
