  I worked at the Red Slipper Room in 1961 and 1962 as a busboy. It was a great place to work and an upgrade from my previous busboy and fry cook job at the Denver Drumstick. I had a Vespa motor scooter so I had a means of transportation even though I was 14 years old. I remember John was the maitre d and my friend (Vern) and I were always given a little extra tip money because he felt we were good workers. That was many years ago but I still remember it.

  My grandmother worked at the Red Slipper and I believe it was in the early 40's. I am just wondering when the Red Slipper opened.
