Fort Benning's 500 bed Martin Army Hospital was
constructed in 1958 at a cost of $8,000,000. The
nine story structure incorporates the latest ad-
vances in hospital planning and equipment. The
building was named for the late Major Gen.
Joseph I. Martin, Medical Corps, U. S. Army.
