Virginia Hall, the oldest of the large buildings now standing,
was erected in 1874. It contains rooms for girls and teachers,
dining rooms, and a large chapel now used as the gfris' study.
The Huntington Memorial Library was dedicated in April 1903,
by President Hadley of Yale University. It was the gift of
Mrs. C. P. Huntington as a memorial to her husband, a former
trustee. The Library has a capacity for 30,000 volumes.
