The reconstructed home of Lt. Colonel General George Armstrong Custer built in the late 1980's on the original Custer home site with the exact architectural design contains eleven rooms. General Custer and his wife Elisabeth "Libbie" lived on this home site during the years of 1874 to 1876. The home is located seven miles south of Mandan. This project was sponsored by the Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation and the support of many organizations and contributors.
