The Warren Hotel was built in 1858 and has been operated continuously since. During the Civil War fora time
Gen'l. Stonewall Jackson's headquarters were here. Belle Boyd, famous southern spy, also stopped here, and many
other notables. The Hotel has been modernized throughout but a great deal of the Colonial hand-carved wood work
and stair case has been left as in the original.
