Burlington's hospitals offer broad and efficient
twenty-four hour hospitalization service to the
city and its vicinity. An Iron Lung, property
of this city, is quartered one year in each local
hospital in turn. The facilities for diagnosis are
of particular note, including complete X-ray
equipment, laboratory service, and metabolism
equipment. The Public Library maintains
branch in each hospital and twice a week pa-
tients may borrow books.
