THE HENRY FORD HOSPITAL was first available
patients on October 1, 1915. During the World War
the entire personnel was released for war work and 25
the hospital was turned over to the Government,
being known as Base Hospital No. 36. There are nine
buildings in the group. The hospital has accommoda-
tions for approximately 600 patients and is open to
the general public for treatment of all types of cases.
A Nurses' Training School is operated in connection
with the hospital.
