Cody, Wyo., was founded by the late Col. W.
F. Cody "Buffalo Bill." It is the terminus of
the C. B. & Q. R. R. enroute to Yellowstone
Park. It is the eastern entrance to Yellowstone
Park and from here the automobile highway
leads up the Shoshone River 55 miles to the
boundary of the Park.
