EBENEZER BAPTIST CHURCH
Atlanta, Georgia
One of America's most famous churches. It was in this
church that Martin Luther King, Jr. was baptised, licensed
and ordained to preach. He was copastor with his father for
eight years. The Southern Christian Leadership Conference
of which Dr. King was the founding president was estab-
lished in Ebenezer.
