GREETINGS FROM BIG BEAR
LODGE
No. 617 F. & A. M.
Big Bear Lodge is located at Big Bear Lake,
California, at an elevation of 6800 feet, on the
top of the San Bernardino Mountains. It is the
highest Lodge in California, and perhaps in
America, and the only Lodge in California, so
far as we know, that was installed, under
charter, in its own building. The furniture
used in the Temple was hewn from the native
timber. We are rather proud of its records, a
there were only nineteen members during its
construction, and we are all proud of our own
little home.
All members of the fraternity are cordially
invited to come and see our lodge room and to
"sit in" with us whenever they can. Our regu-
lar meeting night is the first Wednesday of
each month. Your Lodge is invited to bring its
degree team and put on the work in our hall.
