THE PALM COURT, located at the south end of
the lobby, is considered one of the most beautiful
rooms in New York, special attention having been
given the decorations to give it a restful atmos-
phere, while the profusion of palms and foliage also
lend their attraction. Tea is served each afternoon
in the Palm Court and an excellent string orchestra
renders classical and popular music.
