A Bell G-3 supercharged heliocopter delivering supplies at
Long Valley which will be used in construction of the Mt.
Station. This shot was taken in July of 1962 when every 15
minutes a heliocopter would drop a 700 pound load. During
the two years of construction 5,638 tons of material were
flown in.
