SOUTH END OF STANLEY FIELD HALL
The central hall of the Chicago Natural History Museum
is 299 feet long, 68 feet wide, and 75 feet high. It was
named by the Board of Trustees in honor of Stanley Field,
President of the Museum since 1909. The hall contains
exhibits selected from the Departments of Anthropology,
Botany, Geology, Zoology, and the N. W. Harris Exten-
sion.
