No. 18 House Cor. Broad and Rugby Sts. Second size Metropolitan Piston Engine, built in 1906. Diameter of pumps, 4 3/4 -in.; steam - cylinder, 8 -in.; stroke, 8 -in. Drawn by two horses, is fitted with rubber tires and weighs, ready for service, 8,500 lbs. Placed in service July 17, 1906. Also Steam-frame Combination wagon, built 1865. Drawn by two horses, and carries 800 ft. of 2 1/2 -in. hose and 200 ft. of 3/4 -in. hose. Is equipped with 50-gal. tank and weighs, rady for service, 4,940 lbs. Placed in service Nov. 30, 1895. Company consists of 1 Capt., 1 Lieut., 3 Hose-men, 1 Engine-Man, 1 Asst. Engine-man, 1 Hose Driver and 1 Engine-Driver.
