Natural Color Scenes of the West
T. JOSEPH'S MISSION, 15 miles southwest of Yakima,
Washington, was founded in 1852. Destroyed soon after in
the Yakima Indian war, it was rebuilt by Jesuits. The present
mission has log walls and is also known as Ahtanum Mission.
