CYCLORAMA IN GRANT PARK, ATLANTA, GEORGIA
The Cyclorama Building houses the million-dollar painting
of the Battle of Atlanta, one of the world's great pieces of
art. The canvas, 50 feet high and 400 feet in circumference,
takes the viewer into the very center of the fighting on July
22, 1864, when 155,000 troops were engaged in such des-
perate combat that 5,000 were killed on the field.
