1934 WORLD'S FAIR
A drawing of the Ford Exposition Building at the
1934 World's Fair in Chicago as it appears at night in
its blaze of flood lights. The central pillar of light on
clear nights extends a mile in the air and has a bril-
liance of 600,000,000 candle power. The building is
900 feet long ard equivalent to 10 stories high in its
central section. It occupies a tract of 11 acres fronting
on Lake Michigan with the beautiful Ford Gardens
and the Roads of the World in the foreground.
