by publishing 34,030,570 lines of paid advertising.
The News triumphed over all other newspapers in
America, in advertising published, in 1916, 1919,
1920, 1924 and 1926, stood second in 1914,
1915, 1917, 1918, 1921, 1923 and 1925, and
third in 1922. Of trading areas of the United
States, none of Detroit's size is so completely cov-
ered in circulation by one newspaper as is the
Detroit trading territory by The Detroit News.
