CASCADE FOUNTAIN IN NORTH LAGOON, LARGEST IN THE WORLD
Back:
The Cascades Fountain is the largest
fountain ever built spouting 68,000 gallons
of water a minute enough to service a city
of 1,000,000 people and nearly five times
the flow of the largest fountain in the
world. The dome of water at the end of a
570 foot long series of ostrich plume jets is
200 feet across and 40 feet high. At night
the dome is floodlighted from within with
ever changing colored lights while a fan
shaped aurora of light sends its beams into
the spray as a backdrop for the fountain.
