Back:
The Federal Building with its exhibits
cost $1,000,000, and is 620 ft. long by 300
wide, with a rotunda 70 ft. in diameter, sur-
mounted by a 75-ft. dome, around which are
grouped three fluted towers 150 ft. high,
typifying the three branches of the govern-
ment. The Hall of States, a great horse-
shoe-shaped building, rises juxtapose to
the Federal Building. It is 500 ft. across at
the base and has two arms 500 ft. long and
140 ft. wide at the widest point. The open
part of the horseshoe faces west and en-
closes a court.
