(1885-1966) of Fredericksburg, Texas, was
Commander-in-Chief
(CinCPac)
throughout World War II. Called "the most
considerate" of fleet commanders, Nimitz
Pacific
was beloved by all who served with him. The
Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericks-
burg tells his story.
