FORT JACKSON, SOUTH CAROLINA
Trainees fire M-60 machine gun on bipod. This
7.62 mm weapon is fired for familiarization on
Bastogne Range by all male trainees. Fort
Jackson, a U.S. Army Training Center, is
located in the capital city of Columbia, S.C.,
and is named in honor of President Andrew
Jackson.
